Aebi products are manufactured to the highest standards. Aebi AG,
Burgdorf Switzerland, has a long history of providing equipment over a
wide range of industry. The company was founded in 1883. The Terratrac
line of products was introduced 30 years ago. These tractors have proven
to be extremely capable in hillside applications. A typical application
in the North American market is a front mounted flail mower for hillside
mowing. Our customers have included levee districts for mowing and
maintaining levee systems, landfill operators for mowing and maintaining
landfill faces, and reservoir operators for mowing and maintaining earthen
dams. Additional customers include DOTs (roadside mowing), Ski Resorts,
(ski slope mowing), etc.
The Terratrac models proven to best fit the North American market are the
TT75 and the TT270. Both of these models are hydrostatically driven,
offering infinitely variable speeds from 0-25 mph. Other Features of both
of these tractors include locking differentials, front and rear. These
tractors are equipped with dry clutch PTOs which can be operated
individually or in unison. The
front three point hitch allows implements to be side shifted two feet off
of center. In addition, the front three point hitch utilizes a weight
transfer system which allows an adjustable percentage of the implement
weight to be shifted to a position closer to the center of gravity for
the tractor.
In addition to the Terratrac product range, the Combicut CC66 has proven
itself to be a valuable asset to a whole range of end users in North
America. The single axle implement carrier is greatly suited to use in
areas where previous mowing was only possible with hand trimmers.
(Weed whackers.) The Combicut, with its hydrostatic drive and dual tire
options is incredibly maneuverable and stable on hillsides. Outfitted
with a 55-inch wide flail mower, one operator can out perform 4 or 5
individuals with hand trimmers. The Combicut can be “quick connected”
to 20+ available implements to handle any ground care need.
